Eric attained success while amassing an impressive resume of retail investment sales by personally closing $1.15 billion in retail transactions nationwide throughout his career. Eric has constructed and maintained an extensive database of real estate industry professionals with clientele that includes investors, developers, institutions, real estate investment trusts (REITs), franchisees, and real-time 1031 exchange buyers.
2022 marked Eric’s 20–year anniversary working with Hanley Investment Group. Eric’s notable achievements throughout his career include being recognized in Real Estate Forum magazine’s “30 Under 30” & “50 Under 40” as one of the “Best & Brightest Young Professionals in Commercial Real Estate” in the country. Eric’s dedication and fortitude earned him Hanley Investment Group’s “Top Producer Award” in 2006, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2015. Additionally, Eric received the “Creed Award” in 2019 for successfully closing the most challenging and complex transaction of the year.
Prior to joining Hanley Investment Group, Eric was an Associate at Marcus & Millichap, where he was one of the top brokers in the Newport Beach office from 2003-2004. Eric’s hard work and tenacity as a rookie earned him a spot as one of the Top 10 Brokers in the Newport Beach office in 2004, and a candidate for National Rookie of the Year.
Eric graduated from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Real Estate. He has a professional affiliation with the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
Eric lives in Newport Beach with his wife, daughter, and son. His weekends are reserved for family, friends, surfing and pickleball.
